Get Online is back at Reading Central Library

News from: Reading Voluntary Action

Like many other activities, Get Online drop-in sessions had to stop during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we have been steadily working over the summer to reintroduce them in the autumn.

The good news is that our popular sessions at Reading Central Library are back! As before, all our sessions are free for anyone needing help with computers and technology to drop in, on a first come first served basis. You can bring your own device or use the library computers.

Come and find us on the first floor of the library – we’re back at our previous times:

-Tuesdays 14:00 – 16:00
-Thursdays 14:00 – 16:00
-Saturdays 10:00 – 12:00

Please note that you will need a library card to use the library wi-fi or computers – if you don’t have one you can get one easily from the reception desk if you bring ID. We look forward to seeing you.

Details of the Get Online project and a calendar of all our sessions can be found on our website www.go-reading.org. We have also set up a telephone helpline for residents without internet access on 0118 334 1095 where you can hear a recorded message listing our schedule and leave a message if you would like a member of the team to call back.
