Covid-secure meeting rooms open at RISC

News from: Reading International Solidarity Centre

While the ‘rule of six’ means that many leisure and recreational groups are unable to meet at the moment, some groups are still able to meet.

If you teach yoga, pilates, tai chi or similar and are looking for a central location to hold your classes why not consider the hall at RISC? The hall has skylights for good ventilation, a sprung maple floor and room for up to 10 people on yoga mats.

Voluntary and public sector organisations are still able to run training courses and workshops so please contact us if you are looking for a venue to hold training.

Under current government guidelines support groups are also still able to meet in groups of up to 15 people so if your usual venue is closed but your group would still like to meet, please contact us to see if we can offer you affordable meeting space at RISC. Our rooms are spacious and well ventilated.

The new Covid-19 capacities are as follows:
-Room 1: 4–6 people
-Room 2: 3–4 people
-Room 3 (Stones): 8 people
-Main hall: 20 people

We have good availability and discounts are available. Copies of our risk assessment and special conditions of booking available on request.

Contact RISC today. The RISC office is open from 10:00 until 14:00. Please call on 0118 958 6692 during office hours or email the bookings team at admin@risc.org.uk.
