The Silvers’ Workshop

We make and mend things together, work on our own projects and use our skills for the benefit of the community. The Silvers’ Workshop is open to all Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10:00 and 14:00, though seems to appeal to older men, especially those who’ve retired and are missing going out to work. Our Shed at the end of Hilcot Road provides a friendly, welcoming place where what goes on involves a lot of tools for wood and metalwork and other things that are often of more interest to men.
