News from: Reading Climate Change Partnership

In early to mid 2025, we will develop a more long-term communications strategy which supports the promotion and delivery of the new Climate Emergency Strategy for 2025 – 2030.
Tasks involved in this role:
-Develop ReadingCAN social media strategy, with support from RCCP Co-ordinator.
-Develop communications metrics and recruit additional volunteer help to manage a programme of impact measurement.
-Develop and deliver a process for gathering news from local climate groups.
-Produce blogs for the “Who’s doing what about climate and biodiversity in Reading?” blog series, using interviews. (Recruit additional writers if necessary)
-Deliver one newsletter every two months.
-Help build a Reading Climate Communications Alliance, with support from the RCCP Co-ordinator.
-Deliver social media content across Instagram, X and Facebook.
-Build a photo gallery for use by ReadingCAN, working with local photographers.
-Help recruit additional volunteers to support with above tasks, as needed.
