Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service workshops this autumn

News from: Autism Berkshire

The Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service has a busy programme of free workshops for autistic adults and their parents and other family carers this autumn.

The workshops offer information about aspects of autism and tips and strategies to help participants to navigate daily life and social situations, improve their understanding of autism and increase their self-confidence. They feature a presentation by an Autism Berkshire adult support mentor, plus time for questions and discussion.

All the workshops will take place on Tuesday evenings, from 18:00 to 20:00.

Workshops available for autistic adults, who must be aged 18+, with an autism diagnosis or waiting for assessment, and registered as a patient with an NHS GP surgery in Berkshire are:
-Anxiety and Autism: October 7
-Understanding Other People: October 14

Workshops available for the parents of autistic adults and other family carers are:
-Sensory Differences & Executive Functioning: October 28
