Magic Little Grants – Open on 1 March 2023

Localgiving is the UK’s leading independent non-profit online fundraising platform for charities and community groups. They are incredibly excited to announce that Magic Little Grants 2023 is going to be even bigger and better than ever before.

This fund gives local charities and community groups the chance to apply for £500 grants to deliver projects across Great Britain that encourage people to be physically active.

This year’s funding aims to support projects that address the following themes:
-Providing support to improve mental health
-Enabling participation in physical activity
-Enabling participation in the arts
-Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
-Supporting marginalised groups and tackling inequality
-Improving biodiversity and responding to the climate emergency
-Improving green spaces and increasing access to the outdoors

Who is eligible to apply?
-Small local charities and community groups.
-Organisations must either be in their first year of operation or have an annual income under £250,000.
-Organisations and the projects for which they apply must be located within England, Scotland, or Wales.
-Funding can be used to launch new projects, support existing ones, or cover core costs associated with ongoing work.
-Schools are eligible to apply if they are registered charities.

The application process is short and simple, taking 20-minute to complete:

-If you are a member of Localgiving, You Can Now Log In To Your Localgiving Charity Account, to apply via the My Grants Menu.
-If you are not a member, Click Here To Get Started With Your Application.
-Each organisation may only apply once in 2023.
-The application deadline is midnight on 31 October 2023.
