Reading Borough Council has opened Round 1 of its Small Grants Fund 2022/23. £100k is available for community-led activities that support inclusion and connectivity for the most marginalised groups and most vulnerable adults and children in our communities, such as activities that:
-Break down barriers of prejudice, discrimination, language and culture
-Raise awareness, understanding and empathy
-Engender hope through friendship, new skills, physical and mental wellbeing and respect for self and others.
Individual organisations can apply for up to a £5k grant and 2 or more organisations applying in partnership can apply for up to £10k. The deadline for Round 1 applications is 20 June 2022. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 4 July 2022.
