Lyndhurst Road Community Centre opening events

News from: Reading Borough Council

Walk-in opening events for the newly built Lyndhurst Road Community Centre in Kentwood are being held on 27 April (10:00-12:00), 10 May (13:00-15:30) and 11 May (17:30-20:00). The opening events are an opportunity for anyone who is interested to visit and view the facilities available, to ask any questions, to make any bookings or look at the council’s wider involvement in the community.

Lyndhurst Road Community Centre is a new space situated in Tilehurst, adjacent to the new housing development on Lyndhurst Road, RG30 6UB. It is a single storey building that is accessible and offers a main hall and a small basic kitchen. The Community Centre will be available to hire for anyone from or benefiting the local community.

Further information about the centre can be found online at www.reading.gov.uk/leisure/community-centres-for-hire. Any questions can be directed to Gavin Harper, Neighbourhood Initiatives Officer – Housing and Neighbourhood Services at gavin.harper@reading.gov.uk or on 07815 996224.
