Your Community Your Cash – time to help with your local project!

This year, 15 bids around Reading have so far been awarded up to £6,000 of Decent Neighbourhood Funding to benefit council estates or their tenants through ‘Your Community Your Cash’.  Successful bids include a digital inclusion project in Whitley, a stage for holding events in Southcote and community centre improvements in Amersham Road.

Projects like these need plenty of support from the community – so now is the time for you to get involved!  If you would like to find out more about how you can take part in these successful projects either as a user or a volunteer and you are happy to pass on your contact details to bidders, please complete the council’s online form at
