News from: Reading Voluntary Action
A round-up of service updates during the coronavirus outbreak:
-The Ridgeline Trust have suspended horticultural therapy sessions at their garden until further notice. They are still available via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and will have updates on their website www.ridgelinetrust.org.uk and Facebook page www.facebook.com/ridgelinetrust.
–re3 – Recycling Centres in Bracknell and Reading are now closed. They say: “we will work with its Contractor to redeploy staff and maintain effective receipt of waste from collection services and operate as efficiently as possible. We will review this decision after the initial three-week period, taking into account the Government advice at the time. During this time, we are asking residents to maximise the kerbside collections and hold-on to any inert waste they may have. We are grateful to all residents for their understanding.”
-The Indian Community Centre is now closed until 22 April, but will continue to review the situation. They will be keeping in touch with service users by telephone.

–Sadaka is offering a takeaway service outside the Fairview Community Centre, from 11:30 till 12:15 on Saturdays.
