Community Plus grants of up to £5,000 are available for small local charities with funding available to cover salaries, equipment or materials. Grants must directly help disadvantaged people in your local area.
The scheme is designed to be quick and simple to use and nominations can be made by charities as well as Santander customers and staff. Just visit any Santander branch and complete a Community Plus Nomination. The completed form should then be dropped into your local branch. By dropping your nomination into the local branch you do not need to wait for an acknowledgement of receipt. This is a local grants programme and the branch staff are part of the assessment process.
There are no closing dates and entries will be considered by a panel of staff drawn from across the region every month. Successful charities will be notified within a month of submitting their nomination by e-mail. The scheme is open to small local UK registered charities.
