Reading’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy – consultation

News from: Reading Borough Council

The Health and Wellbeing Board would like your views on Reading’s draft Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2017-2020.

The Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Action Plan for the local area.

The draft 2017-2020 Strategy sets out how the Health and Wellbeing Board plans to realise its vision for ‘a healthier Reading’ and meet its key strategic objectives:

-Promote and improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Reading.
-Reduce health inequalities.
-Promote the integration of services.

Voluntary sector organisations have already been involved in considering the priorities within the draft strategy, through workshops and the recent Wellbeing Forum hosted by Reading Voluntary Action. Now is your opportunity to consider the draft in more detail and feedback your comments, on behalf of the people you support and your organisation.

You can download the draft strategy and full details of the consultation at consult.reading.gov.uk/css/hwbstrategy, which closes on 9 December 2016.
