If you have expressed an interest in the programme (by completing the first stage of the application process, the eligibility checker), but have not yet applied, you now have time to complete your application or get advice from the My Community team on how to apply.
Our Place gives your community control over local services – it helps bring communities together in partnership with local organisations and service providers to look at the issues that most matter to them.
Who should apply?
You might be an incorporated voluntary or community organisation who is passionate about public service reform with an enthusiasm and appetite to deliver services differently that better meet the needs of your local neighbourhood. With a track record of community engagement, partnership working and making connections with the right people in the community and in the public sector who can make things happen.
What are the benefits?
- A grant of £8,000 – £12,000
- Access to a dedicated relationship manager, who will act as a critical friend and provide technical support to build capacity and resilience within your partnership and local community
- The opportunity to access a range of shared learning opportunities including peer groups, the Champions Network, guides and learning resources and training & learning events.
