New home needed for ABC to read

Due to council funding cuts, and a condition survey on Bridge Hall, ABC to read’s current base, it is becoming clear that the charity will need to find a new home in order to carry on with their vital work in Reading and Berkshire wide. They require office space in West Reading/Tilehurst.

Do you have a spare office for two desks and usual office equipment to be used during the working week? The charity has books and games that they use to support over 500 children so ideally room for the books to be displayed or stored in cupboards, with nearby parking and the option of using a hall or room once a term so that volunteers can come in and swap their books that they carry around with them.

Reading Borough Council have advised ABC to read that they will also look at other council buildings that they manage but in order for the move to be a planned and considered the charity would like to ask other charities or businesses in the area to consider any space that may be available to them.
