Get involved at your community allotment

News from: Food4Families

Food4Families helps organise community allotments all over Reading. At your local allotment you can help grow organic fruit and vegetables, get the health benefits of gardening and learn all about growing.

Gardens are now open to the public, but please get in touch and book before you visit. This way we can be aware of numbers. Let’s all stay safe!

Educational courses are currently running with COVID secure precautions in place. There are also free summer gardening sessions for kids running in Caversham, Whitley, Southcote, Coley Park, and Central Reading (visit the Food4Families website for details).

Here are details of our latest courses:
Food4Families Growing Healthy Conversations – new courses starting in September
Food4Families Growing Careers – new courses starting in September.
