Reading Neighbourhood Network’s major theme for 2016 is ‘Grow your group’, with the emphasis on growing your numbers, funding, image and network.
We are pleased to announce four free ‘Grow your image’ training sessions. These will help you produce your own high-quality news content and pictures, lay it out in a newsletter and make use of social media to help you get your message out.
All sessions will be held at RISC, 35-39 London Street, Reading RG1 4PS, from 7.00 to 9.00pm. The sessions are:
Wednesday 13 July: Writing great news articles with local journalist and former Geteading news editor Alan Bunce
Wednesday 20 July: Putting together a newsletter with RNN news editor David Neale
Wednesday 27 July: Taking great photos of community events with local press photographer Lynda Bowyer
Wednesday 3 August: Using social media to promote what you do with Rob Davies from the Museum of English Rural Life
All sessions are completely free so why not sign up today! There will be further free training sessions later in August.
