    Primary Care Networks in Reading

    18:00 - 19:45Friends Meeting House

    2 Church Street, Reading RG1 2SB

Leading Reading GP's Dr Bu Thava and Dr Aman Bindra will be introducing their vision of Primary Care Networks. There will be opportunity for questions and discussion. We will also hear and discuss local healthcare news and reports from GP practice Patient Participation Groups.

    About Primary Care Networks
The formation of Primary Care Networks – groupings of GP practices serving from 30,000 to 50,000 patients – is probably the most significant change to NHS services in several years.

The networks will be able to employ a broader range of health professionals and deploy more technical and administrative skills to apply to care of patients.

At the 30,000 to 50,000 grouping, there will be an opportunity to consider population health management and the wisest application of the resources available. Along with these changes goes a more collaborative approach across the NHS.
