Museum of English Rural Life - Wintry woolly creations
Redlands Road, Reading RG1 5EX
Drop in between 11:00 – 13:00 each second Sunday of the month and enjoy a different activity based on various themes related to The MERL and its collections.
This month’s craft is all about wool. What can we make with wool? This wonderful material has lots of fun and creative uses. Have fun making your own wool creations – here are some ideas: colourful pipe cleaner letters, shapes, or maybe a sheep too.
MERL provide the woolly materials; you provide your imagination and create. There will also be demonstrations and examples of other woolly things to inspire you to make: little recycled coil pots, friendship braiding, and card loom weaving.
Suitable for families with children aged 3 – 12 (adults must stay with their children, and MERL encourage accompanying grown-ups to help their children with the activity).
No booking required, just drop-in, entry cost £2. All craft materials provided.
