    FIR-TREE Open Day

10.:30 - 15:00 Church of the Latter Day Saints

    280 The Meadway, Reading RG30 4PE

FIR-TREE stands for: Friends in Retirement Taking Recreation, Education and Exercise. The club has been running in Reading for 40 years and offers a great range of activities. Members can become activity leaders, but professional instructors are used for certain specialist activities.

Alongside the weekly activities, outings to places of interest and to the theatre are arranged, as well as annual holidays. The emphasis throughout is on friendship and fun.

The club has recently moved to a new venue, and to celebrate this and its long history it is holding a free open day. Guests will be able to take part in different activities including table tennis, Scrabble and crafts, as well as finding out about available trips and holidays and meeting the friendly FIR-TREE members.

Just turn up or contact Colin Ferguson by email at colindf@btinternet.com or phone on 01189 482557 for details.
