News from: Reading Voluntary Action (RVA)
We’re at the time of year when budgets are being finalised for 2015/16. If you represent a voluntary organisation and need any help with putting your accounting practices in place, updating your procedures or completing your accounting reports, help might be at hand.
Nelson Walters, a retired chartered accountant, is looking to provide support to the local voluntary sector. He comes with a wealth of experience in accountancy and finance and is keen to help with the accounting needs of our local community groups.
Nelson approached the volunteer advisers during one of RVA’s Thursday morning sessions in Reading Central Library and asked about available roles. He is now one of a growing number of new volunteers RVA have recruited from these new sessions.
If you are interested in benefiting from assistance with your financial procedures contact the RVA Advice Service by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
