Consultation on concessionary fares for Access pass holders

Reading Borough Council has opened a consultation on proposed changes to the concessionary fares scheme for Access pass holders.

The proposed changes would affect disabled people who hold Access passes and would mean that the council:
-No longer provides free travel within Reading before 09:30 or after 23:00 on a weekday
-No longer issues or accepts companion bus passes for people who are unable to travel alone
-No longer provides free travel on ReadiBus dial-a-ride services

Residents have until 20 July 2018 to complete the survey which can be found online at https://consult.reading.gov.uk.
