Sports pavilion for lease

News from: Reading Borough Council

Reading Borough Council invites bids for the lease of Courage Park Sports Pavilion. The pavilion is in Edenham Crescent, Coley Park, and could be suitable for community or voluntary sector use.

The site sits within a quiet residential area and benefits from additional public recreation facilities including a children’s play area, multi-use games area and close mown flat open space, for sports and other recreation.

The pavilion consists of a garage store to the southern end (not included in the offer), sports changing accommodation with toilets, showers and storage in the centre and a kitchen/office to the northern end.

The building is structurally sound but needs significant repair to its roof and internal plumbing, and the accommodation is also in poor decorative order. A building condition survey report can be provided on request, but interested parties are urged to seek their own advice on the current state of the building. Access can be provided for inspection or assessment.

The deadline for offers is 16:00 on 24 February 2017. Further details can be downloaded here.
