Job Vacancy – Garden Tutor/Development Worker

Gardener with Community Development Experience Needed – immediate start.

We are looking for a Garden Tutor/Development Worker to work with the Southcote GrowAllot committee to further increase local residents’ participation in this successful community allotment garden.

You will have the enthusiasm and skills to get people engaged and help them learn how to grow their own fruit & veg and we have developed lots of resources to help you do that.

This position is initially for 5 hours per week during the 2014 growing season, which will include evening and weekend work.

Food4Families is managing this project for Southcote GrowAllot.

Contract type:
– Part-time
– Sessional
– Temporary, Contract, or Project

Location: Southcote GrowAllot Florian Gardens, Reading
Salary: up to £20 per hour
