Climate Week and Earth Hour

by Karen Rowland (Reading Neighbourhood Network)

Climate Week is Britain’s biggest climate change campaign, inspiring a new wave of action to create a sustainable future. You can join in too!

Help accelerate action on climate change by making Climate Week happen where you are. Activate your organisation or group to start planning an activity inspired by Climate Week in March 2014. Visit the Climate Week web site for ideas for what you or your organisation can do.

This year’s WWF Earth Hour is happening on 29 March at 8.30pm. Join in and do your bit. Sign up as an individual, business or organisation to turn the lights off. Let’s make Reading a real ‘beacon of darkness’!

Don’t forget to publicise your events for Climate Week. We look forward to hearing about what you are doing to effect a change in your area.
